Great Saltair, Utah



Brand New Concert

Blake Marriott, Nicco, Jeff, and Michael drove went to the Brand New concert at the Great Saltair. It's a really cool venue next to the salt flats, which puts it in the middle of nowhere! Cameras weren't allowed in and the security guards at the door were pating down, I put my camera in my pants (It's not as comfortable as it sounds). mewithoutyou opened the show, followed by Thrice. During Thrice, Michael Gutierrez made it up to the front by Michael Rowley. Thrice was pretty intense and Michael R. was caught in the middle of it all when 10+ people were knocked over. While Brand New was making a set change the Skin Head security guards poured water into our dehydrated mouths. Once Brand New started to play everyone was just a little more crazy. By the end of the night everyone was drenched in sweat, and that wasn't the best part. The drive home was!
